RTV allows you to read Reddit news from your terminal^
Installation
# I couldn't get the rtv or rtv-git (AUR) packages to work.
# The workaround was to install it through the Python package tool
$ pacman -S python-pip
# Then install it with PIP (SUDO!)
$ sudo pip install rtv
urlview
# So you are able to launch links in your browser, install a urlviewer
$ yaourt -S urlview
# Edit /etc/urlview/system.urlview and change the COMMAND variable
# Assuming your still on Firefox (%s will be replaced with the URL);
COMMAND firefox %s
Usage
# RTV is pretty self explanatory
# Hit ? to open the Help menu
Login
# Login by hitting u
# This will open your browser > Reddit and ask for permission.
# You have to do a /front to refresh the mainpage after logging in
Navigation
# Navigate up/down with Up/Down arrow keys
# Open/back in articles with Left/Right arrow keys
Open Links
# With the urlview package installed, you can navigate a post/comment with a URL and hit b
# Then hit Enter to open the link in your browser^
Navigate Sub Reddits
# Navigate Reddit (sub-reddits) with /
# Ex, go to Arch Reddit /r/archlinux
# Or combine sub reddits /r/archlinux+linux
# Back to Front with /front
# Your profile page /u/me
# Or others profile /u/<PROFILE_NAME>
